This Charizard-Shaped Cheeto Has Pokémon Fans Bidding Thousands Of Dollars, & Yes We're Serious
Pokémonfans are up in arms over a flaming hot Cheeto that appears to take on the shape of the popular Fire-type Pokémon, Charizard. Though it is fitting for the blazing Pokémon to be flaming hot, it seems that fans will go to great lengths to get their hands on this piece of Pokémon history, as bids have now reached four figures.
This might sound too off the wall to be true, but you absolutely read that right. Properly deemed as "Cheetozard", the flaming hot Cheeto does take on the shape of Charizard in a bizarre-looking way. In this post by Nintendeal on X, you can clearly see the arms, legs, tail, and even almost perfectly proportionate wings. If that wasn't enough, it comes in its very own clear card storage box affixed to a customized Pokémon card sporting the proper name of the smoking-hot snack.

The Question Might Be "Why Does This Even Exist?"
While this may seem like a story straight out of a video game itself, the Pokémon-shaped Cheeto is very real and very expensive. At the time of writing, the Cheetozard has a current bid of $4,250 on Goldin, which does not include shipping either. The 3-inch-long spicy Pokémon has sparked quite the discussion on social media, as this is not the first time this specific piece of merchandise has surfaced, first making an appearance in 2024.

"The Ugly Duckling Is Actually A Dragonling": Pokémon TCG Player Spots Wholesome Story Hidden In Two Paradox Rift Cards
Players have discovered that two cards from a recent Pokémon Trading Card Game set tell a wholesome story that's similar to a fairy tale.
X user Matthew (BLOODY__FATALITY) went as far as to tag Fritolay, asking "When are you guys gonna mass produce the Cheetozard Cheetos?" Others seem to be baffled that this piece of "art" actually exists, but more so that fans of the franchise are placing such high bids on it. Others are curious as to how old this Cheetozard is, which, come to find out, is pretty old.
The Charizard-Shaped Cheeto Has Apparently Been Around For Nearly 7 Years
The Cheeto Was Discovered Almost A Decade Ago
According to the Goldin auction details, "Cheetozard" was initially found by 1st & Goal Collectibles between 2018 and 2022, meaning it could be nearly seven years old depending on the correct year. After preserving it, it went viral on social media in 2024 but has just now hit the market for fans to possibly get their hands on if they place the winning bid.
While this may not have been on my 2025 bingo card, it is quite shocking to see that nearly 25 Pokémon fans have placed bids on such an interesting (and quite odd) product. For those more interested in the casual side of Pokémon, there are plenty of things to look forward to, including Pokémon Legends: Z-A announcements and Pokémon Day 2025.
