“It’s Written And It’s Ready”: Reacher Season 4's Filming Start Window Revealed By Author Lee Child

Jack Reacher author Lee Child reveals the start of the filming window for the upcoming fourth season of Reacher. The series stars Alan Ritchson, and is based on Child's best-selling novel series following a former US Army military police officer turned drifter as he battles ruthless criminals. The show is the second adaptation following the Jack Reacher movie duology starring Tom Cruise, and it premiered as a Prime Video original in 2022. The first season debuted to critical acclaim, with season 2 premiering in December 2023, and the third premiering in February 2025, and season 4 renewed in October 2024.

Per Collider, Child spoke to TechRadar, and opened up regarding the upcoming shooting schedule for Reacher season 4. She revealed that the season is well into pre-production, and is set to begin filming in the summer. The author, who also serves as an executive producer on the show, revealed that all the scripts have been written and are ready to go.
