Fortnite Reveals New Skins Bundle With Silly Cinematic That Recreates Famous Painting And Puts Agent Meowscles In The Doghouse

An official cinematic announcing the latest Fortniteskins bundle puts Agent Meowscles in the doghouse, literally. The hit battle royale shooter from Epic is well known for its pop aesthetics, TikTok-esque dances, and increasingly absurd outfits. One of the most iconic recurring character designs in the title is the swole anthropomorphic cat, Agent Meowscles, and it looks like he now has some competition.

An official new Fortnite cinematic trailer reveals the game's latest skin bundle, Best in Show. The trailer, titled After Bark, shows a closeup of a Poker table, where four pairs of hands are playing a tense round of the game.

The scene then shifts to Agent Meowscles opening the door to the room and looking with surprise at the scene before him: four men with dog heads seated around the Poker table in a perfect recreation of the 1903 Cassius Marcellus Coolidge painting, Dogs Playing Poker. The last moment we see is the Doberman character slowly getting to his feet.

Agent Meowscles may be one of Fortnite's most iconic outfits, but the new dog costumes are pretty fun addition to the game's roster of whimsical characters. The new bundle features four key costumes:

Together, the four dogs make up the members of the Barkington Style Agency, and have the dapper style to suit the name.

The Buff Cat Can Handle Himself In A Fight

The trailer doesn't show what happens to Agent Meowscles after the camera pans away in the cinematic, but it's implied that he's walked into the wrong room at the wrong time. The trailer makes it seem like the feline character is in trouble since any ensuing fight would be four on one.

I don't believe for a minute that Meowscles will have any trouble taking down all four dogs. Though the dogs look pretty tough, there's no messing with muscles the size of Meowscles'. Of course, fans will surely have fun proving or disproving this in matches. And if stylish pups isn't your cup of tea, Fortnitefans will soon get a chance to snag some stylish space outlaw outfits instead, as the game has just announced a collaboration with Cowboy Bebop.
