Every Twisted Metal Video Game Character Joining Season 2
With Peacock’sTwisted Metalseason 2 centering on the tournament, many new video game characters will join the show. The PlayStation game series, which includes nine games, includes surprisingly well-developed characters for a vehicle combat game. The games offer engaging backstories and cut scenes that allow audiences to connect with them. When Peacock announced the TV animation, franchise fans hoped to see their favorite characters in action. The story included fantastic worldbuilding and 20 video game characters. However, it also left out some fan favorites, creating hope that Twisted Metal season 2 might include the best characters and cars that didn’t appear in season 1.
The shift in focus towards the battle royale, for which the franchise is known, increased the likelihood of new characters from theTwisted Metal games. I’ve waited patiently, alongside other fans, to see what if the characters I love will appear. Though the creative team kept updates about Twisted Metal season 2 minimal,Peacock finally released a trailer that teases at least nine new characters from the video games.
9 Dollface
Twisted Metal: Black, Twisted Metal: Lost, and Twisted Metal (2012)
The end of Twisted Metal season 1 revealed that Dollface is John Doe’s sister, but she only appears on the screen for around one minute. Luckily, the trailer promises that she will play a big role in season 2. She’s shown in action alongside her gang from Twisted Metal (2012), The Dolls.
Dollface has a few different backstories in the game series, and her story in Twisted Metal: Black fits best with that of her brother in the TV show. However, it remains to be seen how exactly she will connect to John Doe’s backstory and what kind of relationship she’ll have with her brother. It’s possible they could invent an entirely new history for Dollface.
8 Mr. Grimm
Every Twisted Metal Video Game
In the final few minutes of Twisted Metal season 1, the Peacock show teases competitors who will join the competition in season 2. One of the most notable is a person wearing a biker helmet with a skull painted on it. This is a tease for Mr. Grimm, a character who also appears in the Twisted Metal season 2 trailer.
Depending on the game, Mr. Grimm is either the actual grim reaper, a Vietnam veteran who wears his friend’s skull, or a human killer with a deceased father. The trailer shows someone sucking the soul out of another individual, which very well could be Mr. Grimm doing his job as the grim reaper. If so, his relationship with Calypso in the game could be a fascinating part of Twisted Metal season 2.
7 Raven
Twisted Metal: Black & Twisted Metal: Lost
One of the biggest disappointments of Twisted Metal season 1 is the fact that they created a character named Raven, seemingly replacing the fantastic video game character. However, Twisted Metal season 2 needs the real Raven, and it seems from the trailer that she might actually appear. The trailer includes a young woman with long black hair, dark makeup, a gothic outfit, and a pentacle necklace. This matches up with the character from Twisted Metal: Black and Twisted Metal: Lost.

Twisted Metal: 5 Things We Want to See in Season 2
Peacock's Twisted Metal TV show successfully introduced the video games' storyline to a new audience, but there are some things they need to expand on in season 2.
If the two didn’t match up so closely, this could be written off as a different character since Raven is already in season 1. However, the similarity between the game character and the season 2 character is uncanny. It will be interesting to see whether they connect Neve Campbell’s Raven and the new character in season 2, considering they both wear pentacle necklaces and have a voodoo doll.
6 Axel
Every Twisted Metal Video Game Except The Original Game
One of the most iconic characters in the Twisted Metal games is Axel, a man who is his own tournament vehicle. He’s suspended between two wheels with an exposed body. For this reason, the Twisted Metal filmmakers admitted they had didn’t know how to bring Axel to the TV screen. The logistics are difficult in a show that’s so grounded in realistic and dangerous violence.
Luckily, the Twisted Metal season 2 trailer promises an exciting take on Axel. His wheels are shown when all the vehicles are lined up, and the final moments include him putting his hand into the wheel. Axel’s ability to get in and out of the wheels offers an exciting change that could allow more scenes with the character.
5 Krista Sparks (Maybe)
Twisted Metal 2 & Twisted Metal: Head On
Halfway through the Twisted Metal season 2 trailer, multiple drivers appear on the screen. One person has a grungy jean jacket, a choker, long reddish-blond hair, and a white t-shirt. Since Twisted Metal season 1 includes the video game characters Amber Rose, Miranda Watts, and Bloody Mary – all of whom are expected to return for the tournament in season 2. This means she cannot be any of these characters.
Narrowing down the other options, the character in the Twisted Metal season 2 trailer is most likely either Krista Sparks or Angel. She has the grungy appearance, face shape, and red hair of Krista but long red hair and a white top like Angel. Neither is an exact match, but they also reimagined the outfits of most other video game characters in the Peacock show.
The character Preacher was in Twisted Metal season 1 and appeared on Calypso's tournament bracket, but he won't appear in Twisted Metal season 2.
4 Goggle Eyes
Only In Twisted Metal 4
One of the recognizable cars shown when the drivers arrive at the tournament warehouse is the Roach Coach. Even though it looks quite different from the game’s car design, the name is written on the side of the vehicle. Next to the Roach Coach is a driver who looks like Goggle Eyes, the driver of the car in the game.
In Twisted Metal 4, he has dark marks under and over his eyes. In contrast, the character in the Twisted Metal season 2 trailer has dark, filled-in circles around the eyes. Like Dollface, Goggle Eyes’ clothes look more militarized and dystopian, but they’re green, like the video game character’s skin. It offers a new approach while still capturing the essence of the character.
3 Scott Campbell (Maybe)
Only In The Original Twisted Metal Video Game
When Twisted Metal season 2 shows off the different cars pulling into the tournament, a glimpse can be seen of Spectre with the ghost missile. Since Bloody Mary appears in the Twisted Metal TV show, and she’s one of Spectre’s drivers in the games, she seems the most likely person to drive the vehicle in the tournament. However, the silhouette of the driver in Spectre in Twisted Metal season 2 doesn’t look like actor Chloe Fineman.
This leaves five other drivers who could be behind the wheel. The driver appears to have shorter hair and a more angular jawline. The most likely option is the original driver, Scott Campbell. He fits well with Twisted Metal season 2’s introduction of supernatural elements. However, nothing confirms without a doubt that this character is joining the show.
2 Billy Ray Stillwell
Twisted Metal: Black & Twisted Metal: Lost
Billy Ray Stillwell from Twisted Metal is only teased for season 2 through his vehicle appearing in the trailer. In the wide shot of all the vehicles lined up, the model of Junk Yard Dog from Twisted Metal (2012) is on the right side. Since Stillwell is Junk Yard Dog’s driver in Twisted Metal: Black and Twisted Metal: Lost, it’s almost guaranteed he will appear in Twisted Metal season 2 alongside his vehicle.

Twisted Metal Star Confirms Season 2 Absence, Yet Teases "Dynamite" Episodes Ahead
One Twisted Metal star confirms their absence in season 2 despite their season 1 role, yet teases there are "dynamite" episodes ahead for the show.
Stillwell is a serial killer who started his murder spree with his wife. He competes in the competition with the hope that Calypso will grant his wish to go back in time and get revenge on his wife’s lover, who escaped.
1 Calypso
Every Twisted Metal Video Game
The end of Twisted Metal season 1 promised that the sophomore season would include Calypso, but they only showed the character from behind, looking at the tournament bracket. Luckily, the final moments of the season 2 trailer offer the first glimpse at Twisted Metal’s version of Calypso, played by Anthony Carrigan. The trailer shows why Carrigan will be great as the villain, capturing the character’s cadence, persona, and appearance. He also has a background of playing the antagonist in previous TV shows and films.
With the introduction of supernatural elements in Twisted Metal season 2, it will be exciting to see Calypso granting a twisted wish for the tournament’s winner. The Peacock show will also need to explore the relationship between Calypso and Mr. Grimm, as Calypso is the only one whose soul Mr. Grimm can’t collect.
