Baby Reindeer features a cast that is stacked with unique up-and-coming performers. The Netflix show, which landed in the platform's Top 10 the same week it premiered, is based on the one-man stage show of the same name written and performed by its creator, Richard Gadd. Gadd has been the steward of the project since the beginning, as the story is based on his own experience with a real-life stalker.

The cast of Baby Reindeer is relatively small. Actor: Nava Mau was born in Mexico City, Mexico and had her big break playing Ana in the LGBTQ+ HBO Max dramedy Generation. She was also a Production Fellow on Netflix's documentary Disclosure.

In addition to her entertainment career, she has been a cultural worker advocating for marginalized communities and healing justice. For her role in the Baby Reindeer cast, Mau earned an Independent Spirit Award nomination for Best Supporting Performance in a New Scripted Series, a Satellite Award nomination for her supporting role, and a Primetime Emmy nomination for her work in the fifth episode of the miniseries.

Tom Goodman-Hill as Darrien: Tom Goodman-Hill plays a TV writer Donny encounters at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. He plays a big role in the film as he sexually abused Donny and is someone who has played a role in the confusion the comedian feels concerning sexuality in his life since that event. Goodman-Hill has held various live-action and voice roles since the 1990s, including playing Frank Crawley in the 2020 Netflix remake of Rebecca.

Michael Wildman as Greggsy: Michael Wildman plays the manager of a pub where Donny works. He sees Martha's stalker attacks but begs Donny not to go to the police about it so the pub won't be found liable for anything. Wildman has starred in more than 300 episodes of Emmerdale Farm and has also held minor roles in many action movies such as Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw, The Bourne Ultimatum, and London Has Fallen.

Danny Kirrane as Gino: Danny Kirrane plays the manager of a different pub where Donny works. He sees many of the scary things that Martha does and bans her from the pub, but is unable to stop her from targeting Donny there. Kirrane has held a variety of supporting television roles in shows including Poldark, Game of Thrones, The Serpent Queen, and The Sandman.

It was Keeley that Francis called to check in on Donny after his breakdown. Brune-Franklin is a consummate television actor with numerous roles in shows including The Tourist, Great Expectations, Line of Duty, and the upcoming Dune: The Prophecy.

Nina Sosanya as Liz: Nina Sosanya plays Keeley's mother (who lets Donny live with her). Even after Donny and Keeley break up, Liz lets Donny live with her to fulfill a sense of loss after her son dies. She offers Donny a place to live after his breakdown. Sosanya is a stage and screen actor who appeared in projects including Love Actually and Good Omens before joining the cast of Baby Reindeer.
