"The Ending Was Insane": MrBeast Gives Exclusive Comments On Beast Games Season 2 Renewal After Hugely Successful Debut

Warning: This article contains spoilers about the Beast Games season 1 finale!

MrBeast spoke with Screen Rant to reveal whether his hugely successful reality competition show Beast Games should be renewed for another season. MrBeast has one of the biggest social media followings. The YouTuber became famous for creating amazing challenges that involve winning gigantic prizes. Despite developing a following online, he eventually ventured into the world of TV when he partnered with Amazon Prime Video to create a reality competition series based on his challenges. Beast Games season 1 debuted in December, and the finale was just released on February 13, with Jeff Allen winning the jaw-dropping $10 million grand prize.

While talking with Screen Rant's Rob Keyes, MrBeast appeared very optimistic about Beast Games season 2 coming to fruition at some point. "Beast Games turned out better than I ever imagined, and seeing the public reaction to the finale is the best feeling ever," he admitted, adding that the Beast Games season 1 finale was "insane." He was "super happy" with how the season unfolded. As a result, he really wants "to do Beast Games in the future."

Beast Games turned out better than I ever imagined, and seeing the public reaction to the finale is the best feeling ever. The ending was insane, super happy with how it went and, yes, I really want to do Beast Games in the future.

What MrBeast’s Positive Reaction Means For Beast Games Season 2

Amazon Has The Ultimate Say On A Renewal

MrBeast is clearly excited about Beast Games. The YouTuber is very much on board with a second season. However, the ultimate decision will be made by executives at Amazon. Fortunately for MrBeast, there's concrete data to back up his excitement about a possible renewal. Less than a month after the December 19 premiere, the reality show had already been seen by 50 million viewers. That impressive number meant that the series was Amazon's second most-viewed show of the past year, with Fallout claiming the top spot. However, among just the streaming service's unscripted content, Beast Games was the winner.

Despite the extraordinary ratings, Beast Games has nonetheless been a controversial series. Back in fall 2024, multiple contestants sued MrBeast and the show's production companies over alleged mistreatment. There's a chance BeastGames season 2 will be decided by the outcome of this lawsuit, depending on how much of a financial hit there is. However, the viewership will likely reign supreme in the renewal decision; after all, most streaming services would love to have a hit show like this.

Despite various controversies and scandals surrounding Beast Games, including the lawsuit and terrible reviews from critics, this Amazon reality competition series can absolutely be considered a success just based on viewership alone. If Amazon executives do end up leaning toward a renewal, at least they know MrBeast himself is on board to continue the show. After all, you can't haveBeast Games without MrBeast. Only time will tell if the show's success will be rewarded and if MrBeast will shake things up in a second season to up the ante and create even more excitement.
