Even though James goes to great lengths to find Sophie, including spying on her, he doesn't immediately let her see him. Instead, he makes her run around after him until they have the opportunity to air out their differences. Callum has been trying to expose the Huntleys since he discovered that Phoebe and Quinn were having an affair. The only way he can do that is with Sophie's help.

However, Sophie is having second thoughts about going on record and talking about her mother's death given what happened to Phoebe.
