MANILA – Petro Gazz tries to sustain its winning form against Chery Tiggo in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference at Philsports Arena in Pasig City on Tuesday.
The Angels, bannered by Brooke Van Sickle, Myla Pablo and Mar Jana Phillips, take on the Crossovers at 6:30 p.m.
Petro Gazz has earned 15 points to lead the 12-team field at 5-1, while Chery Tiggo at 4-2 has 10 points.
The Crossovers tapped former Creamline player Risa Sato to strengthen its roster that include Cess Robles, Aby Maraño, Ponggay Gaston, Shaya Adorador and Ara Galang,
"Each player was tasked with maintaining their strength and conditioning routines individually during the break," Chery Tiggo coach Norman Miguel said.
"To ensure accountability, they submitted video updates to our strength and conditioning coaches for monitoring," he added.
Meanwhile, Cignal battles Galeries Tower at 1:30 p.m. while Creamline meets Capital1 at 4 p.m.
The Cignal HD Spikers and the PLDT High Speed Hitters both have 12 points, followed by the Creamline Cool Smashers with 11 points.
Led by Bernadeth Pons, Jema Galanza, Alyssa Valdez, Bea de Leon and Michele Gumabao, Creamline is favored to prevail over Capital1, which has four points. (PNA)
