New Daredevil: Born Again Trailer Teases More R-Rated Violence For The MCU's "Much Darker" Story
Daredevil: Born Again is not kidding about its TV-MA rating, as a new trailer shows. Charlie Cox's Marvel Cinematic Universe hero has already appeared in multiple projects in the franchise since the actor returned as Daredevil in 2021. In less than a month, he will finally lead Daredevil: Born Again's cast as Cox is once again at the forefront of a Marvel series focused on the Devil of Hell's Kitchen. The new Daredevil series promises to deliver the same kind of mature storytelling and violent action of the original Netflix series, which a new trailer spotlights.
Marvel Studios (via @NexusPointNews/Twitter) has released a new Daredevil: Born Again TV spot that focuses on the Matt Murdock and Daredevil sides of Charlie Cox's MCU hero.
The new trailer starts by focusing on what Matt's life looks like in the upcoming MCU TV show. Matt can be seen walking outside of court, cooking, kissing, and more in his daily routine. Then, it all changes, with Daredevil action entering the scene. Cuts of different fight scenes are briefly shown, with all of them looking energetic and impactful, which bodes well for the story Daredevil: Born Again has to tell.
What Daredevil: Born Again's New Trailer Reveals For The Show
The Marvel Series Is Firmly TV-MA
The new Daredevil: Born Again trailer shows more of the Matt Murdock side of things. It teases the tone of his personal story outside the superhero business. In the original version of the show, before Marvel Studios overhauled the series, Matt would reportedly have waited four episodes before suiting up. As such, despite changes, the Matt Murdock side of the show will still play as much of a key role in the overall story of the season as his superhero antics. Matt seems to be on edge while going through his daily life, as teased by the trailer.

The MCU's Spider-Man Vs Daredevil Fight Is All I Want From Spider-Man 4
Marvel Studios finally had Spider-Man and Charlie Cox's Daredevil fight each other in 2025, and that shows how Spider-Man 4 could use the duo well.
When the footage moves over to the Daredevil side of things, it is clear that Marvel Studios is now behind the project. While the tone of the action sequences is still the same dark and violent flow of the original Daredevil series, new MCU beats are incorporated into the fights' designs. Starting with She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Charlie Cox's Daredevil has become much more acrobatic in the MCU. This is accurate to the comics, and the new Daredevil: Born Again trailer shows there will be plenty of jumping around and swinging from buildings besides hard punches and bones breaking.
Our Take On Daredevil: Born Again's New Trailer
The MCU TV Show Looks Like A Blast
The new Daredevil: Born Again trailer makes me even more excited about the MCU series. Netflix's Daredevil is the best live-action Marvel show so far. WithDaredevil: Born Again's showrunner teasing that the new show is darker than the original, it seems like things will be very intense from the start. I like the balance between the Netflix style of fighting and the more acrobatic Daredevil moves Charlie Cox's Matt Murdock has displayed since his return. A healthy dose of TV-MA action can only help the show by upping the stakes, and Daredevil: Born Again seems to understand that.
