ANKARA – US player and No. 19 seed Emma Navarro upset No. 2 seed Coco Gauff in a Wimbledon women's singles 4th round match on Sunday.

The 23-year-old eliminated her compatriot in straight sets of 6-4 6-3.

"Really grateful to be out here on Centre Court," said Navarro after reaching her first-ever Grand Slam quarterfinal.

She will take on Italy’s world No. 7 Jasmine Paolini in the upcoming quarterfinal. (Anadolu)
