Mickey 17 ScreenX Poster Reveals Every Version Of Robert Pattinson's Character
With a world already inviting an out-of-this-world experience, ScreenRant exclusively has the Mickey 17ScreenX poster promising an immersive ride for audiences. Hailing from Oscar-winning writer/director Bong Joon-ho and based on Edward Ashton's Mickey7 novel, the film centers on the titular protagonist who, desperate to get off a dying Earth, enlists to be a worker on a human colony on an alien planet, where he is cloned every time he dies. When he's incorrectly assumed dead and cloned, Mickey 17's story turns into a political satire as their joint existence threatens the brutal government ruling over the colony.
As the movie finally gears up to hit theaters after nearly a full year of delays, ScreenRant is proud to exclusively premiere the ScreenX poster for Mickey 17. The key art for the film offers a hilarious spotlight for every version of Robert Pattinson's titular character, some in the moments just prior to their deaths, while others showcase the surreal situations he experiences on the alien planet of Niflheim. What This Poster & ScreenX Means For Mickey 17
Audiences Will Get A Very Unique Viewing Opportunity For The Absurd Sci-Fi Comedy
Developed by CJ 4DPLEX and having now been around since 2012, ScreenX is a unique viewing experience in the same vein as 4DX, also created by the CJ CGV group, and IMAX. The format offers a tri-screen presentation of the film, with some movies being filmed specifically for ScreenX, while many others are converted in post-production to match the format. With close to 400 screens around the globe, ScreenX has become a major premiere format for theaters, with one of its most successful releases being Top Gun: Maverick.
Arguably, the best kinds of movies to put into the format are those of blockbuster productions, but that seems like just the tip of the iceberg for why Mickey 17 would prove to be a success for ScreenX. Bong is very well-known for his carefully structured visuals, particularly scenes comprised of multiple characters. That said, considering a good portion of Mickey 17's plot will be about Pattinson's clones interacting with one another, the tri-screen format will not only present viewers with the chance to direct their focus to one of them, but any others in the same frame as them.

25 Most Anticipated Movies Of 2025
2025 has plenty of exciting films to offer with Mission: Impossible, DC, Marvel, Avatar, and more returning. Here are our 25 most anticipated movies.
Another promising sign of how the film will perform on ScreenX is Mickey 17's largely positive first reviews after its premiere at the 75th Berlin International Film Festival. Currently situated at an 86% approval rating from critics on Rotten Tomatoes, it may not be as high as Bong's Oscar-winning success with Parasite, which still holds a 99% from critics, but still indicates his return is well worth the wait. Combined with the recent acclaim Pattinson enjoyed from Matt Reeves' The Batman, the movie has a lot of goodwill riding in its favor.
Our Take On Mickey 17's ScreenX Poster & Release
A Welcome Return To The Format For Bong
While the movie itself marks the filmmaker's first movie since Parasite, it's actually interesting to note that Mickey 17 is Bong Joon-ho's first ScreenX release since 2013's Snowpiercer, and I think it's the perfect film for him to do so. The chaotic world of Niflheim already seems prime for the format, though presenting multiple versions of Pattinson on screen together is even more of a reason to find a local ScreenX screen and watch the dark comedy that way.
