The series has established intriguing parallels between the two characters, who are almost like Gods. From how they destroy islands from the sky using boats and have their own minions that do their bidding to their God-complexes, the two characters have many identical characteristics. The False God Enel and the Sea God Imu might have more than just similarities and could even have the same origins.
