The publication was simple, containing a short video of Kafka and Reno looking scared, with the caption #KaijuNo.8. The post was deleted shortly after it went live, without any explanation or comment made by the Godzilla team about it. Nonetheless, @Mr-goji54 was able to save it, creating a massive wave of excitement among fans of these two iconic franchises.
There are a few reasons why the social media team of such a massive license, such as Godzilla, would publish a video talking about another series. As such, fans have theorized that a collaboration between the King of Monsters and Kaiju No.8 must be in the works at the moment. As of January 2025, nothing more has been stated about this alleged partnership, but followers of these beloved series expect to receive news in the coming weeks.
