ANKARA – Vontae Davis, former cornerback of NFL team Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins, was found dead on Monday at his home in South Florida, according to police.

Police said that no foul play is suspected in the death of the 35-year-old.

The cause of death has yet to be ascertained.

"We are saddened to learn of the passing of Vontae Davis. We are thinking of his friends, family, and loved ones during this difficult time," wrote the Buffalo Bills on their official X account.

The Miami Dolphins also published a message of condolences, saying: "We are heartbroken by the sudden passing of former Dolphins CB Vontae Davis and extend our deepest condolences to his family & loved ones during this difficult time."

Davis had 22 interceptions, 97 passes defended and 395 tackles in 121 career games in 10 seasons. (Anadolu)
