Denis Leary’s Quinn Would Rather Cut Off His Finger Than Do Christmas In New Going Dutch Clip

Going Dutch is celebrating Christmas in the off-season, and not everyone is happy about it. The new FOX series stars Denis Leary as Colonel Patrick Quinn, a loudmouthed officer who has been punished with a command position at the smallest Army base in the world. That base is in the Netherlands, and has no guns and no tactical purpose whatsoever.

ScreenRant is happy to present a clip from Going Dutch season 1 episode 7, “Once Upon a Twice Christmas”. In the episode, the Dutch are celebrating Christmas in March (after already celebrating it in December) and drama between Katja and Captain Maggie leads to a complicated evening for Colonel Quinn. In the clip, Quinn is doing his best to get out of Christmas dinner. Check it out below and enjoy Going Dutchon TV tonight, airing at 9:30pm on FOX.

Where You Know The Cast Of Going Dutch From

Going Dutch star Denis Leary first rose to fame as a stand-up comedian, but has accumulated dozens of high-profile acting roles over the course of his career. One of his longest stints was playing the leading role of Tommy Gavin on Rescue Me, which aired for 7 seasons on FX. The actor also starred in Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll, and more recently played a role in Lisa Kudrow and Ray Romano’s No Good Deed.

Opposite Denis Leary in the clip above is Taylor Misiak, who is well-known for her role as Ally in FX’s Dave, which is based on the life of rapper Dave Burd aka Lil Dicky. Misiak also appears in projects including Ten Year Old Tom and Players, but her role in Dave is a standout as Ally is one of the most sympathetic characters in the show. Just don’t hold your breath waiting for Dave season 4.

The rest of Going Dutch’s ensemble has an incredibly impressive collective resume. Mythic Quest star Danny Pudi alone has a wealth of projects under his belt stretching back to the beloved comedy Community. Audiences might know other Going Dutch actors Laci Mosley from iCarly, Hal Cumpston from The Walking Dead: World Beyond, and Dempsey Bryk from the Disney+ Willow series. With this much talent stacked at the smallest Army base in the world, it will be interesting to see if FOX decides to greenlight a Going Dutch season 2.

New episodes of Going Dutch air Thursday nights at 9:30pm on FOX.
