All WWE 2K25 Editions, Differences, & Prices Explained
WWE 2K25 has been revealed in three separate editions ahead of its release this March. This will be the latest in a long line of WWE video games, which have been released annually (barring only 2021) under the 2K banner since 2014. WWE games typically offer players a chance to live out their in-ring dreams, living out matches they could only ever dream of, or creating their own wrestlers and attempting to climb the proverbial ladder (or table, or chair) to success.
As per usual, WWE 2K25 will be available for purchase in multiple different formats - three this time - on multiple major platforms. Each edition differs in what it includes, when it's available, and how it can be bought. Here's a complete rundown on all three available editions of WWE 2K25, what's inside, and how much they cost.
Everything In The WWE 2K25 Standard Edition
$69.99 On Console, $59.99 On PC
WWE 2K25 was revealed in a two-minute announcement trailer, revealing preorders, a release date, and the tagline "Rule beyond the ring." It also featured a look at new gameplay features, like updated movesets that allow wrestlers to perform attacks from the barricades, and the new Island game mode.
WWE 2K25 will be officially released on March 14, 2025 (although some editions will allow players to access it earlier). It'll be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S consoles at launch. So far, only digital editions have been confirmed, although physical editions may follow shortly. Purchase of any edition of WWE 2K25 also includes a copy of WWE 2K24.
Unsurprisingly, the Standard Edition is the most basic version of WWE 2K25, and its lowest-priced. It'll cost $69.99 USD on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles, but just $59.99 on PC via Steam. Its cover art features WWE 2K25's primary cover star Roman Reigns. If purchased on or after the release date of March 14, 2025, it includes no bonuses; just the game itself for the player's preferred platform.
If preordered prior to March 14, however, players will receive a couple of in-game preorder bonuses. These include cosmetic items for The Island game mode: an Uncle Howdy Mask, and a Nikki Cross Mask. (Little is known about The Island game mode otherwise, except that it apparently involves competing with other players in an attempt to gain Reigns' favor and win a WWE contract.) Standard Edition pre-orders also come with The Wyatt Sicks Pack, which includes five different MyFACTION Persona cards (i.e., playable wrestlers). Everyone included is listed here:
- Uncle Howdy
- Dexter Lumis
- Nikki Cross
- Joe Gacy
- Erick Rowan
However, it is worth noting that only the console versions of WWE 2K25 will include The Island; PC players will miss out on this particular feature. Therefore, PC players won't receive the unique cosmetics included in Standard Edition preorders for console, although they will be able to purchase this edition at a lower price.
Everything In The WWE 2K25 Deadman Edition
$99.99 Across All Platforms
The second-most expensive (and second-most inclusive) edition of WWE 2K25 is the Deadman Edition, coming in at $99.99 across all available platforms. The Deadman Edition comes with everything included in Standard Edition preorders, including The Wyatt Sicks Pack, and a few more bonuses. Chief among those is seven days of early access, allowing players to begin their 2K25 journeys as early as March 7.
Early access start times typically depend on the player's time zone and region. Further information is expected to be revealed closer to launch.
In addition, purchasing the Deadman Edition grants the player an automatic Season Pass. This gives the player immediate access to all future WWE 2K25 DLC at no further cost. The game will receive five DLC packs on a roughly monthly schedule, with each pack likely containing between five and seven playable characters, just like 2K24 before it. However, no specific DLC has yet to be announced.
The Deadman Edition comes with a SuperCharger, which, once activated, unlocks the entirety of the base WWE 2K25 roster immediately, without the need to unlock new wrestlers through gameplay. It also includes 15,000 VC (literally "Virtual Currency") for players to spend in-game on new cards and packs to unlock new players in 2K25's MyFACTION mode.
Finally, the Deadman Edition includes the Deadman Bonus Pack, a launch DLC celebrating The Undertaker's historic career. Inside are two MyFACTION cards: Undertaker '90 and Mattel Elite “Greatest Hits” Undertaker, an urn that can be used as a weapon (as long as the ref isn't watching), and Brother Love as a manager. The Mattel player cards feature toylike versions of the wrestlers they depict, based on Mattel's line of WWE superstar action figures.
Everything In The WWE 2K25 The Bloodline Edition
$129.99 Across All Platforms
And last but certainly not least, there's The Bloodline Edition, the biggest and most expensive version of WWE 2K25 at $129.99 on all platforms. The Bloodline Edition contains everything in the Deadman Edition, including the Season Pass, seven days of early access, The Wyatt Sicks Pack, the Deadman Bonus Pack, and the SuperCharger. But it also comes with a handful of unique bonuses, mostly themed around the Bloodline faction.
First, there's The Bloodline Edition Bonus Pack, a combination of playable characters and virtual currency. This includes MyFACTION cards for Mattel Elite Collection Greatest Hits Roman Reigns and Mattel Elite Series 114 Jey Uso, along with another 32,500 VC. The Bloodline Edition also comes with a MyFACTION card for The Rock (Nation of Domination), which is entirely exclusive to this edition and will not be available for individual purchase.
There's also the Ringside Pass, a kind of enhanced version of the Season Pass that includes, in addition to the SuperCharger and all five character packs, a Superstar Mega Boost, a MyRISE Boost, and an additional 100,000 VC. These features give players a head start in WWE 2K25's various game modes by allowing them to expand their faction rosters and level up their characters more quickly.
Finally, The Bloodline Edition includes the WrestleMania 41 Pack, which, while not available at launch, is expected to be released in summer 2025 to coincide with WrestleMania 41. It'll include the arena for WrestleMania 41 as a playable venue, a new playable superstar, and two new MyFACTION cards featuring wrestlers from Mania 41's main event (to be determined). Further details will likely be revealed closer to WrestleMania.
The Bloodline Edition includes, in total, 147,500 VC.
And that's every way to buy this year's new WWE game. Further details, like the contents of its five DLC packs, its WrestleMania MyFACTION cards, and more, are likely to be revealed closer to and in the days following WWE 2K25's March 14 launch.
