90 Day Fiancé season 11 has introduced the show’s first-ever throuple – Amani Jlassi and Matt from San Diego, along with their Mexican girlfriend, Any, and there is a reason why the husband and wife look familiar. A new 90 Day Fiancé season is here with seven couples. Three of these are couples fans have met before in previous spin-offs of 90 Day Fiancé. Shekinah Garner and Sarper Güven, Jessica Parsons and Juan David Daza, and Shawn Finch and Alliya de Batista.

Amani and Matt were introduced in season 11’s episode 1. They talked about their two daughters, Lila – who has a loud, confident, sassy personality and is her mother’s mini-me, and Sarah, who has the purest heart and is just so affectionate. Amani revealed that she first met Matt in college and fell head over heels for him. Amani spoke about how it’s “simple, but it's true,” that every woman wants a man who makes her laugh and is very selfless and loving. Matt added that he had never had someone who would “balance” him and be truly “there” for him.

Amani was 18 years old when she left Tunisia to have a better life for herself and her family. She now works in the tech industry while Matt seems to be a stay-at-home dad. He described their relationship as the best case of “opposites attract.” Amani noted that they do all the “typical family things” but something “slightly less typical” about them is that they have a “girlfriend”and that they are a “throuple.” Amani explained that it is a three-people relationship and that they are emotionally, physically, and mentally involved with Any.

Amani revealed that Any is from Mexico. They had been in a relationship with Any for almost a year. They met her at a club in Mexico and had a lot of fun and drinks, after which they ended up going back to the hotel together. They continued to get to know each other and realized it was more than a hookup “really quick.” Amani added, “She's funny, caring, and has a banging body” and called her a “full package.” It was their first polyamorous relationship and wanted to bring her to live with them in the U.S.

Are Matt & Amani Faking Their Throuple Storyline With Any?

In the Netflix show, finance expert Ramit Sethi worked with people across the US to help them achieve their richest lives. According to their interview with “I Will Teach You To Be Rich” in a “Where Are They Now?” segment, the host reveals that Matt and Amani fought because Amani was earning tons of money and Matt had no financial access. They were “at each other’s throats” and “fighting so much” before the show came in 2023. The show helped them communicate better and talk things through.

As per CelebratingTheSoaps, Matt and Amani are already being slammed for being an “inauthentic throuple”since they were announced as a 90 Day Fiancé cast. Merrypants reported that on the Netflix show, they showed no signs of any desire to get a third wife. Matt and Amani had issues, but mainly about who was going to work and who would stay home and look after their daughters. It appears the couple may have thought of being in a throuple just so they could have more screen time.
